Swingers NoMad is a grown-up reinvention of the seaside crazy-golf hall, tucked below street level near the Flatiron and dressed up as a fantastical 1920s English country club. Behind an unassuming entrance on West 29th Street opens a cavernous 23,000-square-foot world of manicured faux lawns, ivy, follies and soft lantern light, with three separate nine-hole courses winding through it. It is a date idea disguised as a night out: part activity, part cocktail bar, part party.
The heart of the evening is the golf itself.
